D-Skin cowhide leather
D-Tec® introduces this innovative leather that ensures elevated quality combined with exceptional softness unique in its kind thanks to special tanning and finishing treatments. D-Skin leather also offers technical sports apparel significantly increased mechanical performance levels that exceed even those of natural cowhide in terms of traction and tear resistance. Thickness 1,1 +/- 1,3 mm.
 
S1 fabric
Continuous technological development and the pursuit of constantly improving performance led to the evolution of the bi-axial Arrow-FK fabric now known as S1 that increases mechanical properties. This fabric for sports apparel composed of an elastomer coated with Cordura® polyamide is distinguished by elevated mechanical strength and bi-axial elastic properties to guarantee excellent comfort levels. Protector treatment developed through nanotechnology applied to textile finishing also ensures excellent water/oil repellence properties.
 
Aluminium inserts on shoulders, elbows and knees
The use of inserts in metal like titanium, steel, aluminum or special alloys grants greater protection against abrasion for the body’s joints, reduces the risk of dangerous rotation and/or rolling during fall, and distributes impact energy over a wider surface area.

Co-injected shoulder with aluminium insert
The co-injected shoulder with metal insert is one of the most revolutionary innovations developed for Dainese garments. The customary removable composite protection has been substituted here by an injection of plastic material over a net externally covered in polyurethane. A pocket for the insertion of the metal plate fastened by rivets on the inside is created inside this structure. The result is a completely armoured CE homologated protector jointed to the rest of the garment with the minimum occupation of space for the maximum advantage to the wearer’s comfort.
 
Pro Shape soft protectors certified to Standard EN 1621.1 at sides
With their special construction, composite protectors on the shoulders, elbows and knees homologated to EN 1621.1 Standard offer elevated protection. A rigid external plastic shell absorbs and distributes impact energy over the protector’s entire surface thanks to a patented reticulate structure that also offers lower thickness and weight. The inside of the protector in high-density polyethylene foam has elevated deformability and high shape memory retention that ensures greater comfort through adaptation to the wearer’s body, which is also served by perforation on the outside that increases breathability.

Biaxial elastic inserts
This Dainese patent has brought safety and comfort to new levels: one large panel in leather elasticated by bellows stretches perpendicularly in two directions, width and length in order to give the wearer greater freedom of movement around the kidneys (when hunched over the fuel tank) and in the chest and arms.

Suit-boots fastening system
This exclusive Dainese patent lets boots be worn and fastened by Velcro® strip under certain suits. The result is greater safety because of the reduction in the number of garment parts that might get hooked to the bike during fall, lower weight, better aerodynamics, and increased comfort due to the reduction of the boot's volume and the greater adherence of the rider's leg to the vehicle.

Microelastic elasticated inserts
Extensive research in ergonomics has paid off with this new Dainese patent filed to further increase riding comfort while keeping safety levels high at the same time. Bonding an insert in elasticated fabric beneath a panel in leather permits localized micro-elasticated areas where the body requires freedom of movement most while also increasing the area's abrasion resistance as well. This is achieved by reducing the number of panels and the stitches that connect them, while also keeping greater thickness in the panel itself than in traditional elasticated inserts.

Elastic abdomen
The maximum comfort and freedom of movement in the saddle for the best expression of sports riding: with this patent, Dainese introduces a greater level of comfort with the introduction of an elasticated abdominal area that makes the suit fit perfectly to the wearer's chest thanks to the double zippers impossible to achieve with traditional central zippers that are an element of rigidity at the chest's line of flexure instead.
 
Localized perforation
This Dainese patent permits air vents to be localized only where aeration is absolutely necessary and far from the stitching, in this way guaranteeing both greater safety and improved aesthetics.
 
NanoFeel® removable liner
Innovative liner in bacteriostatic polyester yarn developed through nanotechnology. The treatment of nano-particles with silver ions ensures greater efficacy in antibacteria and anti-odour properties, longer life, and better resistance to washing because the silver particles are inside the fibre itself and not brought in from outside as in bacteriostatic yarns.

3D Bubble lining
Born and tested to the needs of racers like Valentino Rossi, this particular three-dimensional liner permits the creation of an air chamber between the inside and outside of the clothes, becoming an insulator in order to provide an ideal microclimate during both summer and winter.
 
Aerodynamic hump
This improves the aerodynamics of the rider/vehicle system when the racer is bent low behind the handlebars.
 
Soft inserts
Distributed in various parts of the body, primarily on the sides, collarbones, chest, and kidneys, these inserts increase comfort and prevent smaller injuries.
